Ballerina Music Box

Ballerina Music Box
The reason I wanted to make this project was because I have always loved those little music boxes that have a ballerina that twirls when its opened. I wanted to challenge myself to make one because I wanted to try to see if I could code two outputs ( the buzzer and the motor) with one input (the photoresistor). Since most code for buzzers utilizes a lot of delays, making the buzzer play and the ballerina spin together was a bit tricky.
I also wanted to make something that would be useful to me, and so I added the felt to the box so that I could keep my jewelry inside.
I made a fake bottom for my music box both so that I could use it to store jewelry, and so I could hide all of the hardware beneath it.
The functional prototype for my music box. This is the finished wiring, it would run all of my code.
The form prototype for my music box. I used foamcore as a stand-in both for the ballerina and for the false bottom of my box. This is how I decided how everything would fit together in the finished product.
